SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, is a volunteer organization sponsored by the Small Business Administration. The San Joaquin Delta College Small Business Development Center, SBDC, works in cooperation with SCORE.
SCORE volunteers provide FREE counseling in San Joaquin, Amador, and Calaveras counties. SCORE also puts on low cost workshops throughout the year.
SCORE volunteers are men and women who have had successful business careers and who wish to help others who are currently in business, or those who wish to start a business.
SCORE provides free counseling at its offices in Stockton and Angels Camp. It also meets with clients at the Chamber of Commerce offices in Lodi, Tracy and Manteca.
